Actually I didn't want to write reviews anymore, but this show was my first show since a few months with a very special cast, so I decided to write a review one more time...At the moment I also don't know when I have to chance to watch the show again due to my upcoming expensive holidays in London & Hamburg during the next 3 weeks. So - I hope you like to read this post ;)

John Vooijs - Tarzan
This show was number 5 or 6 with John as Tarzan. And I have to say that I started to like him...my first show with him was last year in January and I didn't like him at all. But now I recognized that he has always some special moments in his acting, and he's the only one who's doing that. He's still far away from being one of my favorites in this role but yeah....I really started to like him. And the couple Maria & John was like a Jackpot.
Maria Walter - Jane
At first I was really disappointed when Merle told me on saturday that she won't play the first show on sunday, but I was really excited after I heard that Maria is going to play that show...and that this is going to be an exceptional case because of so many sick Jane's
On sunday I was a bit confused when I looked at the castlist and read " Jane - Merle Hoch" ..and I thought...oh ok so it's not Maria today...but it definitely was Maria.
Her vocals were amazing...she sang some really deep parts and when you hear her talking, you don't think that she is able to do that but she is...and her voice is as great as Emma's or Merle's. But one negative point for me was her acting. She was too hyperactive and hysterical. A Teenager Jane is absolutely fine but her Jane was more like a child.
Nevertheless she was able to play the serious scenes trustworthy but this fast "change of minds" was a bit unrealistic.
But she deserves the deepest respect for this performance...she never interacted uncertain, and you have to know that she didn't play this part for more than one year now.
Schirin Kazemi - Kala
Finally....finally...finally...I was so happy and excited that I finally had the chance to see Schirin again after so many shows with Melanie as Kala...I knew that Melanie was still on holiday, so I also didn't care if Emma or Schirin is going to be Kala, I like them both. Emma was sick on sunday so it was fixed that Schirin is going to be Kala. It was my 4. Show with her and I think the last time I saw her was nearly 9 months ago - and she was Kala in my very fast show in december 2013.
Her interpretation of this part is so different to Melanies and in the beginning it was a bit strange when you know Melanie but it was great to have an alternation. And another point is ....Melanie is great this is beyond debate, but her acting is always the same...every move is similar in every single show and Schirin gave this character so many different things and was a bit more authentic for me than Melanie. And with Thorsten as Kerchak - just perfect.
Thorsten Ritz - Kerchak
And finally the day was here...after more than one year I had the chance to see Thorsten as Kerchak for the first time. I saw him as Porter and Clayton several times but I never had the chance to watch a show with him as Kerchak..and everybody said that he is fantastic. And I wasn't disappointed - OMG this man is brilliant, his "Gar keine Wahl" was a dream. I never enjoyed this song so much and his aggressive way to act in front of the little Tarzan was also scary for me. He was definitely the best Kerchak I've seen during the last months. Sometimes he reminded me of Andreas. And the people who know me, also know that Andreas was my favorite and that I'm not a big Fan of Jan - great singer but too much comedy.
Matt Farci - Terk
At first I didn't realize that Matt is going to be play Terk. I thought that Emanuele will be on so I didn't check the castlist good enough and so I was surprised when Matt came on stage. My last 6 shows were with Emanuele as Terk and it was great to see somebody else, even if I would have loved to see Arcangelo or Alessio again. But Matt was absolutely fine and it was second show with him as Terk. I have to say that his vocals are really good and he is easy to understand when he talks german the rest is....let's say normal. Nothing special but he's definitely good.
Japheth Myers - Porter
Ohh my last show with him was ages ago...I think it was at the end of october. No question the covers are also great but Japheth is and remains the perfect Porter. His acting...his way to talk to Jane..everything is like the Porter in the Disney movie...you can't compare his interpretation to the others he is just unique and adorable. I really noticed how much I missed him during the last shows.
Léon Roeven - Clayton
I think I saw Léon nearly everytime since the castchange...there was just one show with Thorsten as Clayton but the other shows were all played by him. He is just the perfect successor for Rudi. his acting is also always the same..in every single show but his voice just sounds so evil that you have to like him...Clayton needs that and so I never get bored when he is on stage.
Matthis Lernhart - kl. Tarzan
I was surprised that Matthis is still active..I know that he played the opening night in november 2013 so I thought that he also left the cast like many of the other boys. But I was happy that I had the chance to see him again, he is just unbelievable cute..even if there were some crooked tones during his solo...
Hannah Millichamp - Swing (Track Joana)
I love to see Hannah on stage...she is an enrichment for this cast. Just because of her power..she always performs with such an energy and joy.
She was directly in front of me during the curtain call and even there I saw how much fun she had..I ever saw somebody else with so much power on stage like her.
Isis Paula Barbosa dos Santos - Ensemble
The cutest monkey ever....someday I have to steal her and take her with me..she is as cute as a button. And I always have to smiley when she starts the show during "Zwei Welten" by flying over the audience.
"Meeting the family" is always special with her...she comes from the upper right hand side and I thought "ok she doesn't know that you're watching the show..so don't even think about the point that she will see you".
But then she came..hand on the railings...looked to the audience..saw me and smiled. Then she went to the floors and came back to row 3 to me for the "monkey salutation"...and made this show even better for me.
Jera Wolfe - Ensemble
I'm so happy that Jera found the way to the Tarzan cast last summer. In the beginning it was really new for me to see a ballet dancer with such a figure it's definitely not a disadvantage for him. He is a fantastic dancer and has always...really ALWAYS a smile on his face.
James Mackie - Swing (Track Bradley)
I really hoped that James is going to play..I saw him in december as moth and he was just amazing. And so I was a bit disappointed when I realised that his name wasn't on the list.
The show started and I wanted to look at Bradley when he is going to start his flight during "Zwei Welten"...I looked to the left hand side of the auditorium and recognized that he guy who climbed to the Drop point wasn't dark-skinned...."Bradley is on the list but this guy isn't him"
Then he turned around and I saw that it was James. You can't believe how happy I was since this moment.
He was just great again...you could see how much fun he had during the show. The last time he convinced me with his performance as moth and this time I was absolutely impressed by the "Jungle Funk"
Samuel Chung - Swing (Track Calum)
I think that nobody is really surprised that his name came up again..everybody who knows me, knows that I don't watch shows without him anymore. And after this show I have finally seen him on every male Ensemble Track (except of Arcangelo's). So Calum's part was the last one left and I was really excited to see him on this track. It was really strange to see him as Tarzans father in the beginning...he looked so different and it was just weird. But "Jungle Funk" was so brilliant and bombastic and he proved again why he's and will always be my "Monkey Nr.1"

Tarzan - 01.März 2015 ...meine vorerst letzte
Da es nach langer Zeit mein erster Tarzan Besuch war, und es auch für die nächsten Monate der einzigste bleiben wird UND die Show zwar für mich besetzungsmäßig nicht ganz perfekt war, aber dennoch was besonderes, hab ich mich dazu entschieden nochmal einen Bericht zu schreiben.
Meine nächste Show wird dann wahrscheinlicher leider erst wieder zum Castchange sein...da die Show zwar toll ist aber auf Dauer dann doch etwas teuer.

John Vooijs - Tarzan
John hab ich jetzt mittlerweile auch schon 5 oder 6 mal als Tarzan gesehen. Und dafür dass er mir im Januar letztens Jahres rein gar nicht gefallen hat, wird das mittlerweile immer besser. Er macht einfach schauspielerisch so viele kleine Specials die echt toll sind und gesanglich ist er auch absolut Top. Er ist zwar bei weitem noch nicht mein Lieblings-Tarzan aber immerhin find ich ihn mittlerweile echt gut und die Show zusammen mit Maria war natürlich der Jackpot.
Maria Walter - Jane
Zuerst war ich ja enttäuscht als ich am Vortag erfahren hab dass Merle nicht spielen wird aber als mir dann gesagt wurde wer Jane spielt, hab ich nicht schlecht gestaunt. Und vor allem daher, weil es weder angekündigt - noch öfters geplant ist. Verwirrung sorgte dann erst einmal die Castliste, auf welcher Merle stand aber die Auflösung gabs dann als Maria später den Saal betrat.
Gesanglich fand ich sie einfach toll und sie steht Emma und Merle in nichts nach. Schauspielerisch muss ich sagen, dass sie mir leider viel zu aufgedreht und hysterisch war. Eine Jugendliche Jane = ok ...aber so jugendlich dann bitte auch wieder nicht.
Die ernsten Szenen hat sie zwar auch super glaubhaft gespielt, aber dennoch war dieser Gefühlsumschwung bei ihr etwas unrealistisch. Aber nichts desto trotz...dafür dass sie schon ewig nicht mehr spielt und keinerlei Proben hatte - Respekt und geniale Leistung.
Schirin Kazemi - Kala
Endlich...endlich...endlich..ich hab mich so sehr darauf gefreut, nach so vielen Show mit Melanie, endlich mal wieder eine andere Kala zu sehen. Dabei war mir fast egal ob es Emma oder Schirin sein wird. Da Emma momentan krank ist, hatte sich die Auswahl dann erledigt und ich hab meine 4. Show mit Schirin als Kala gesehen. Wenn ich mich richtig erinnere, war das letzte mal vor ca. 9 Monaten - und sie war auch meine Kala beim allerersten Besuch. Von der Art her war sie komplett anders als Melanie und man musste sich daran erst mal wieder gewöhnen aber es war so toll mal Abwechslung zu sehen. Denn bei Melanie hab ich immer mehr gemerkt dass einfach alles immer gleich ist, und Schirin hat so viel Abwechslung reingebracht und meiner Meinung nach die Rolle authentischer und glaubhafter rübergebracht als Melanie.
Zusammen mit Thorsten gab es dass absolute Kala & Kerchak Traumpaar.
Thorsten Ritz - Kerchak
Nach über einem Jahr sollte es nun endlich so weit sein - meine allererste Show mit Thorsten als Kerchak. Als Porter und Clayton kannte ich ihn schon und fand ihn toll und hab mich deshalb umso mehr auf diese Kerchak Show gefreut. Und ich wurde nicht enttäuscht....meine Güte wie genial ist der Mann denn. "Gar keine Wahl" war ein Traum...das hab ich selten so genossen wie bei ihm und auch seine aggressive Art gegenüber dem kleinen Tarzan konnte einem echt Angst machen. Für mich war er der beste Kerchak den ich seit langem gesehen habe. Hat mich teilweise an Andreas erinnert...und diesen fand ich genial, während ich mit Jan leider nicht so viel anfangen kann da er mir zu sehr auf Comedy macht.
Matt Farci - Terk
Am Anfang hab ich gar nicht mitbekommen dass Matt als Terk auf der Liste stand. Aber ich fands mal interessant etwas Abwechslung zu haben nach ..ich glaube 6 mal Emanuele in Folge, auch wenn ich dann in dem Fall Arcangelo oder auch mal wieder Alessio gern gesehen hätte anstatt Matt. Aber so....es ware meine zweite Show mit Matt als Terk und ich fand ihn wie beim ersten mal echt ok....hat zwar für mich leider nichts besonderes aber gesanglich gefällt er mir und vom Text her war auch alles gut verständlich und weitestgehend akzentfrei.
Japheth Myers - Porter
Wie auch bei Schirin kam mir hier bei ihm zuerst dass Wort "Endlich" in den Sinn....es ist eine gefühlte Ewigkeit her, dass ich in das letzte mal auf der Bühne gesehen hab..glaube es war Anfang November. Die Cover sind auch toll....keine Frage - aber Japheth ist und bleibt einfach für mich der einzig wahre Porter. Allein die Szene in der er hinter Tarzan und Jane Luftsprünge macht....einfach göttlich und mit keinem anderen zu vergleichen. Und ich hab dann wieder gemerkt, wie sehr er mir in den letzten Vorstellungen gefehlt hat.
Léon Roeven - Clayton
Ich glaub mittlerweile hatte ich Leon seitdem er da ist bis auf 1 mal, in jeder Show gesehen und kann mich immer nur wiederholen...er ist einfach ein perfekter Nachfolger für Rudi und die perfekte Besetzung für Clayton- auch wenn er eigentlich in jeder Show alles gleich macht aber allein seine Stimme hat schon dieses....böse was ein Clayton braucht und ihn daher nie langweilig werden lässt.
Matthis Lernhart - kl. Tarzan
Ich war etwas überrascht, dass Matthis immer noch dabei ist, da er ja schon die Premiere im November 2013 gespielt hat aber hab mich auch drauf gefreut ihn zu sehen, da ich ihn einfach bisher jedes mal ziemlich knuffig fand. Was auch dieses mal nicht anders war, bei seinem Solo waren zwar ein paar schiefe Töne dabei, aber das sei ihm mal verziehen.
Hannah Millichamp - Swing (Track Joana)
Ich liebe Hannah einfach on stage...sie ist echt eine Bereicherung für die Cast. Sie fällt einfach jedes mal durch ihre Power auf...auch dieses mal war ich einfach begeisetert mit welcher Energie und Freude sie über die Bühne gefegt ist. Und auch beim Schlussapplaus stand sie die ganze zeigt grinsend vorne und man hat ihr einfach angemerkt wie sehr ihr dass alles Spaß macht. Also diese Power hab ich selten woanders gesehen.
Isis P. Barbosa dos Santos - Ensemble
Und Isis ist einfach dass süßeste Äffchen überhaupt...am liebsten würde ich sie irgendwann mal einpacken und mitnehmen...sie ist einfach so zuckersüß und bringt mich schon zum grinsen wenn sie bei "Zwei Welten" am Anfang durch den Saal fliegt. Und auch durch ihre quirlige Art passt sie einfach mehr als perfekt in die Rolle der Libelle.
Bei "Meeting the Family" kommt sie immer oben zur rechten Seite rein und ich dachte mir - naja sie weiß nicht dass du drin bist und sitzt weiter hinten- also vergiss den Gedanken dass sie dich sieht. Und dann kam sie, hing an dem Geländer und schaut nach unten. Und sie hat mich tatsächlich gesehen und musste gleich grinsen. Danach ging sie runter auf den Boden und kam zur mir nach hinten um den Affengruß zu machen. Und hat die Show somit noch ein Stück besser gemacht.
Jera Wolfe - Ensemble
Auch bei Jera bin ich einfach froh dass er im letzten Jahr den Weg zu Tarzan gefunden hat. Für einen Ballett Tänzer fand ich seine Statur zwar am Anfang sehr ungewohnt aber hab dann gemerkt dass es definitiv nicht zu seinem Nachteil ist, er ist ein absolut toller Tänzer und was mir bei ihm besonders gut gefällt - er lacht immer...einfach immer. Und das macht ihn noch authentischer.
James Mackie - Swing (Track Bradley)
Ich hatte echt drauf gehofft das James spielen wird...hatte ihn nach seiner Verletzungspause, dann Ende Dezember wieder gesehen und fand ihn toll. Dementsprechend war ich dann etwas enttäuscht als ich seinen Namen nicht auf der Liste gefunden hab. Aber dann kam's doch anders als erwartet. Ich saß da und wollte bei "Zwei Welten" grad schauen wie Bradley zu seinem Flug quer über die Bühne startet und denk mir auf einmal..moment der Affe der da hochklettert ist nicht dunkelhäutig...das ist nicht Bradley und als er sich dann gedreht hat konnte ich sehen dass es James war und hab mich natürlich ziemlich gefreut. Und man merkt ihm überhaupt nicht an, dass er ein halbes Jahr lang nicht spielen konnte. Er war auch einfach toll und es hat Spaß gemacht ihm zuzusehen, weil man auch bei ihm sehen konnte mit welcher Freude er bei der Sache ist. Dieses mal war er die Spinne..letztes mal Motte und genau mit dieser Performance als Motte hatte er mich absolut überzeugt, was ich ihm damals auch gerne gesagt hab. Und dieses mal hat er mich besonders beim Jungle Funk absolut umgehauen

Ich glaub mal dass jetzt nicht allzu viele überrascht sind, dass dieser Name hier auch wieder auftaucht. Für mich gibt es wie gesagt keine Shows mehr ohne ihn. Und jetzt hab ich ihn nach diesem Sonntag auch endlich mal auf allen männlichen Tanzensemble Positionen gesehen. Und genau deswegen war ich noch mehr gespannt...weil Calum's Position noch gefehlt hat. es war definitiv mal was anderes ihn am Anfang als Vater zu sehen. Weil er aber auch einfach so verdammt anders aussieht. Dann später beim Jungle Funk war er absolut bombastisch und hat mir wieder bestätigt warum er für mic "Äffchen Nr. 1" ist. Zu der Performance als Farn brauch ich dann gar nichts mehr zu sagen....toll..besonders die Hebefigur zusammen mit Jera fand ich klasse

Und auch beim Schlussapplaus stand sie die ganze zeigt grinsend vorne und man hat ihr einfach angemerkt wie sehr ihr dass alles Spaß macht. Also diese Power hab ich selten woanders gesehen.
Isis P. Barbosa dos Santos - Ensemble
Und Isis ist einfach dass süßeste Äffchen überhaupt...am liebsten würde ich sie irgendwann mal einpacken und mitnehmen...sie ist einfach so zuckersüß und bringt mich schon zum grinsen wenn sie bei "Zwei Welten" am Anfang durch den Saal fliegt. Und auch durch ihre quirlige Art passt sie einfach mehr als perfekt in die Rolle der Libelle.
Bei "Meeting the Family" kommt sie immer oben zur rechten Seite rein und ich dachte mir - naja sie weiß nicht dass du drin bist und sitzt weiter hinten- also vergiss den Gedanken dass sie dich sieht. Und dann kam sie, hing an dem Geländer und schaut nach unten. Und sie hat mich tatsächlich gesehen und musste gleich grinsen. Danach ging sie runter auf den Boden und kam zur mir nach hinten um den Affengruß zu machen. Und hat die Show somit noch ein Stück besser gemacht.
Jera Wolfe - Ensemble
Auch bei Jera bin ich einfach froh dass er im letzten Jahr den Weg zu Tarzan gefunden hat. Für einen Ballett Tänzer fand ich seine Statur zwar am Anfang sehr ungewohnt aber hab dann gemerkt dass es definitiv nicht zu seinem Nachteil ist, er ist ein absolut toller Tänzer und was mir bei ihm besonders gut gefällt - er lacht immer...einfach immer. Und das macht ihn noch authentischer.
James Mackie - Swing (Track Bradley)
Ich hatte echt drauf gehofft das James spielen wird...hatte ihn nach seiner Verletzungspause, dann Ende Dezember wieder gesehen und fand ihn toll. Dementsprechend war ich dann etwas enttäuscht als ich seinen Namen nicht auf der Liste gefunden hab. Aber dann kam's doch anders als erwartet. Ich saß da und wollte bei "Zwei Welten" grad schauen wie Bradley zu seinem Flug quer über die Bühne startet und denk mir auf einmal..moment der Affe der da hochklettert ist nicht dunkelhäutig...das ist nicht Bradley und als er sich dann gedreht hat konnte ich sehen dass es James war und hab mich natürlich ziemlich gefreut. Und man merkt ihm überhaupt nicht an, dass er ein halbes Jahr lang nicht spielen konnte. Er war auch einfach toll und es hat Spaß gemacht ihm zuzusehen, weil man auch bei ihm sehen konnte mit welcher Freude er bei der Sache ist. Dieses mal war er die Spinne..letztes mal Motte und genau mit dieser Performance als Motte hatte er mich absolut überzeugt, was ich ihm damals auch gerne gesagt hab. Und dieses mal hat er mich besonders beim Jungle Funk absolut umgehauen
Samuel Chung - Swing (Track Calum)
Ich glaub mal dass jetzt nicht allzu viele überrascht sind, dass dieser Name hier auch wieder auftaucht. Für mich gibt es wie gesagt keine Shows mehr ohne ihn. Und jetzt hab ich ihn nach diesem Sonntag auch endlich mal auf allen männlichen Tanzensemble Positionen gesehen. Und genau deswegen war ich noch mehr gespannt...weil Calum's Position noch gefehlt hat. es war definitiv mal was anderes ihn am Anfang als Vater zu sehen. Weil er aber auch einfach so verdammt anders aussieht. Dann später beim Jungle Funk war er absolut bombastisch und hat mir wieder bestätigt warum er für mic "Äffchen Nr. 1" ist. Zu der Performance als Farn brauch ich dann gar nichts mehr zu sagen....toll..besonders die Hebefigur zusammen mit Jera fand ich klasse

This show was my first show since 2 months...and the very last show of 2014 and I was so excited and happy to see them all again. But I didn't want to be seen this time so I bought a ticket for row 7 instead of 1 or 2.
The Cast of this evening was just perfect...I couldn't imagine a better end of 2014 than this.
And I was so excited to see Merle & Gian Marco again...I haven't seen them together one stage since July. And in my opinion they're the best couple, their interactions together are so great and adorable. Both are absolutely perfect in their roles and together unbeatable. And I really enjoyed Merle's performance because it was my first show with her since July....I've seen Gian Marco 2 times in october with Emma and Joana as Jane, and now I had finally the chance to see Merle again. To be honest, Joana wasn't my favourite Jane but I love Emma, even if her Jane is totally different to Merle's. Emma is more like an adult person and Merle is more like a Teenager. But I loved this difference between them. I also hoped to see Japheth as Porter. Because he's also the best with Merle but on that evening Peter was on for him.
It was my first show with Peter as Porter and unfortunately I have to say that I didn't like him at all. He's not the typical Porter and he was a bit to harsh for me. I really missed the cute and kind Porter during this show.
Kala, Kerchak & Terk were played again by Melanie Ortner, Jan Ammann and Emanuele Caserta...Like everytime during the last few months. I haven't seen another Kala than Melanie since April. She's great...I love her acting and her voice is fascinating but sometimes I wish to see another Kala because her interpratation of this role is always the same. But as I said...I like her anyway but sometimes it would be great to see some differences between the performances.
Jan is still not my business...sure..he's a great singer and his voice is absolutely mindblowing but is acting is too much comedy for me and it seems also a bit ridiculous..sorry. I prefer to see the Covers on stage and I really miss Andreas as Kerchak.
Emanuele was great as always, I also haven't seen him since a few months and I enjoyed his performanced during this evening...He also did some new things I haven't seen yet and I had to laugh so much.
Léon as Clayton and Hannes as the little Tarzan were also just great...esepcially the little one...I was so happy when I read his name on the castlist. Hannes is my favourite from the boys. Best acting...and the best voice.
So and now...the most important people for me in this show - the Ensemble...a show without an Ensemble would be absolutely boring, especially a Tarzan show. And here I also prefer the Swings...they are all absolutely special.
There were only 2 persons I missed on stage - Hannah Millichamp and Joe Nolan ( ok Joe is never on when I'm wachting so this is ..sadly...normal for me), but the rest of the Cast was just perfect.And it was the first show since months with Laura on stage...Oh my good she's so unbelievable cute...and always with a smile on her face.
But the cutest monkey I've ever seen is and will always be Isis...she's is so adorable and I love her way to be an ape so much...This time she didn't see me but it was ok. I had the perfect seat to saw her as dragenfly and I also enjoyed this very much. The second person who convinced me in this show was James. This was the first time I saw him after his abscence due to injury and he was on for Cheyne - as moth. And bloody hell he was amazing...at first I looked at Stuart and Samuel as ferns but than I decided to take a look at the moth and I was impressed...he was absolutely mindblowing and the best moth I've seen during the last months...and I've seen many different people on this track since Justin left.
The last two guys who made this show really special are Stuart and Samuel...they are for me the best dancers in this show. Stuart was on for Alessio...this was the first time I ever saw him on this track and now I've seen him on every Track except of Jera's. And I was really happy about that...so I had the chance to see him in different scenes than the last time but - luckily - again as fern and he was so incredible. I love this song so much because of the Ferns and the moth. But only if the Swings are one...I know it sounds a bit rude but the Swings are my favourites (ok I have to admit that I also like to see Jera). But Stuart is really fantastic as fern and my last time with him on this position was a few months ago so I enjoyed this performance very much.
And of course my favourite monkey Samuel was on too. It wasn't really a surpise for me due to the fact that I bought the ticket after he told me that he will be on. He was on for Jera and started the show as a monkey above the audience so I was really happy directly in the beginning of the show. And this time I constantly looked at him during "Jungle Funk"....wow...this man is unbelievable talented. I so love to see him...
This Cast is definitely the most amazing and talented Musical-Cast I've ever seen on stage...
